Kissaniemi is a log house, located right on the shore of Lake Iso Lapinjärvi. The cottage was built in 1998 and it accommodates 5 to 7 people. Kissaniemi has a heat pump for heating and air conditioning. There is also a fireplace and a baking oven. A large grass field surrounds the cottage.

There is a sheltered barbeque area in Kissaniemi, with “muurinpohjapannu” (a pan made of cast iron) for cooking and frying food. There is a child friendly beach, a rowing boat and an opportunity for fishing. During the summer time, two people can accommodate in the outhouse. In the winter, there is a connection from the cottage to snowmobile routes and ski track network (1-14 kilometres).
